Belgian-born Michel Courvreur was a master of maturation. He took whisky distilled in Scotland & aged them in casks in Burgundy. Overaged comes from 12-27 year-old whiskies, blended then aged in used sherry barrels from Jerez. Dried flowers, tobacco leaf, sherry, & almond, with a powerful, long fruity finish and little bit of peat. A store favorite.
