Budbreak was very late, and a wet spring followed. After bloom, the weather became warm and dry over the summer months. Late season rain was a welcome event for the dry soil. The deep tap-roots of these un-irrigated vines meant no excess moisture reached the fruit. Excellent ripening and picking weather followed, with signature Oregon warm days and cool nights. The result is a beautifully aromatic, delicate, balanced Pinot Noir.
