PrimoAntico evokes the ancient Roman tradition of growing Primitivo in Falerno del Massico. Nicola Trabucco has dedicated most of his life to digging through old Roman manuscripts & archeological sites for evidence that dates this wine back to 300BC.
The nose explodes with blueberry, roasted coffee beans, cassis, tobacco, violets, & tar. Big, balanced, & elegant, with firm tannins & a long memorable finish.
