Tiago Teles started as a wine writer who dreamed of owning his own vineyards, which he first planted in 2012. "Raiz" is a co-ferment, from vines planted on clay-limestone soils. Spending 10 months on the lees in cement, it's light-bodied and zesty. Green herbs, red grapefruit, sour cherry, and spice, with a bright acidity, lovely structure, and heavy minerality. Great with a little bit of a chill.
