The Montmollin family has been involved in grape growing & selling wines since the 17th century. The domaine was established in 1937, and today is led by the 4th generation, who farms the nearly 50 hectares with biodynamic methods.
Chasselas vines grow near the medieval village of Auvernier, on the northern shores of Lake Neuchâtel. Fermented & aged in steel.
A lean, dry white with low alcohol makes for a more enjoyable time. Stony with white flowers and a hint of citrus & apples. Vivacious. A rarity.
