The Ameztoi family has 50 hectares of estate-grown Hondarribi Zuri & Hondarribi Beltza vines on the slopes above Getaria, an ancient Basque fishing village on Spain's northern coast. Indigenously co-fermented for 3 weeks, the tanks are closed just before the end of alcoholic fermentation to preserve the regions trademark fizz. Summer strawberries, candied red fruit, citrus peel, & rose petal with a crisp, fuzzy finish.
