The Zellertal Riesling grows in young, south-facing parcels in the Kreuzberg and Schwarzer Herrgott vineyards. The soil here consists of clay and marl with significant limestone inclusions. Before the main harvest, the grapes were pre-selected. After a short maceration period, the grapes were pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under cool conditions with spontaneous yeasts. Following seven months of lees aging, the wine was bottled. Characterized by the poor soil, it possesses a distinct minerality combined with a vibrant acidity. Its delicate citrus and stone fruit notes harmonize beautifully with this acidity. The finish is enlivened by a salinity that immediately invites another sip. A Riesling of exceptional quality!
