Johann Michel purchased the land at Schloss Mülenhof in 1846. His descendant Nicolas now runs the winery. Grown on 22-28 year old vines planted on calcareous-clay soils, the grapes macerate on the skins for 8 weeks & age 7 months in steel. Filled with notes of citrus, sherry, earth, overripe peaches, appel, sweet spice, cinnamon, & clove. Nicholas may say it's not an orange wine, but we'll let you be the judge.
75% Müller-Thurgau, 15% Riesling, 5% St. Laurent, 5% Grauerburgunder. Organic. Natural. Orange.
