The color is a beautiful garnet red, relatively transparent, with a very rich texture.
The aroma is intense and complex, with aromas of ripe fruits such as blackberry, blackcurrant, plum, vanilla, smoked ham and humus.
The taste impressions are intense and long-lasting with flavors of ripe fruits such as blackcurrant, juniper, blackberry, sweet licorice, discreet black pepper and violet. An Amarone that is initially discreetly sweet but otherwise mostly dry, very warm, fresh, brings a good portion of saltiness and minerals, has elegant tannins, is very round and soft, has full body and structure. A wine with good balance and harmony, ready to drink now, even as it can wait a few years in the cellar for you.
Food: red meat, fried, grilled or oven-baked pork, beef and venison. Feel free to try risotto with truffle sauce. Aged cheeses such as French blue cheese, Parmesan and Västerbotten cheese. Salami, ham. Dark chocolate.
