Far North Spirits is the northernmost distillery in the continental U.S., located just 25 miles from the Canadian border in Hallock, Minnesota. Far North focuses on premium, heritage spirits as one of just a few estate distilleries to grow their own grain.
Røknar Minnesota Rye is made from 80% AC Hazlet Winter Rye, 10% corn, & 10% malted barley. Aged 16 months in new oak, it then finishes in used Cognac casks.
Rich vanilla & brown sugar notes, with vanilla caramel, vibrant orange, sourdough, red cherries, and peppercorn. Has a touch less of the spice typically associated with rye.
