Ridge’s long relationship with the Dusi Ranch began in 1967, when Dave Bennion asked to buy 5 tons of grapes from Benito Dusi. Today, Beni’s nephew Mike Dusy continues to care for these old, dry-farmed vines.
Hand-harvested, destemmed grapes are crushed & fermented with native yeasts & full malo, then aged 12 months in American oak barrels (20% new).
Bright & lively, with smashed berries, briar fruit, plum, & anise layered with licorice, vanilla, green peppercorns, earth, & smoked meat framed with ample acidity & zesty tannins. A great example of old-school, old vine Zinfandel.
100% Zinfandel. Sustainable.
