Brothers Francisco, Javier, and Luis Parra founded Parra Jiménez are devoted to farming their vines with organic & biodynamic methods. Their 2 large vineyards, Entresendas and Olla del Monte, are located near the town of Las Messas in La Mancha.
Biodynamically grown Tempranillo from 10-25 year old vines grow on oolite limestone soil. Grapes were immediately pressed after harvest, fermented with indigenous yeasts before 4-6 months in steel, then bottled with no additional sulfites.
Bright & juicy, with cherry, plum, blueberry, black fruit, and dried fig. The moderate acidity leads to savory notes of leather, tobacco, slate, and earth. Finishes nicely dry, with chewy tannins.
