Nicholas Reau and his wife Sophie Augereau are pioneers of the natural wine movement in the Loire. Ange comes from a 1.8 hectare vineyard of younger Cabernet Franc vines. Hand harvested, destemmed and aged in half oak foudre and half concrete on the lees for 6 months. Wild berries, grilled poblanos, forest floor, baking chocolate, and pink peppercorn. Zippy and spunky.
