Roberto Cantori’s Fattoria Nannì is hidden on a winding country dirt road in the hills near Apiro, on Le Marche’s Adriatic Coast. This remote area has the perfect microclimate for Verdicchio—cool, dry, temperate, & protected by the Apennine mountains to the east.
Asicci comes from a combo of newer plantings & 50 year-old vines, grown on clay-calcareous soils 450m above sea level. Fermented in steel with one month of batonage, it’s approachable & complex, light & racy.
Aromas of delicate white flowers greet flavors of yellow apples & peaches, salted lemon, basil, honeyed almonds with a zesty minerality & delightfully crunchy acidity.
Verdicchio. Organic.
