First created in 1868, mara Sibilla is named for the Sibillini Mountains that provide the herbs, plants, and honey that go into the recipe. Opens with notes of raisins, cola, and roots on the nose, followed by birch syrup, espresso, blackstrap molasses, and crushed walnuts. Bitter bark & dark spice ride along the finish. A fine after-dinner option.
