Atxa’s Pacharán comes from a 150 year-old family recipe, using local sloe berries from the Sierra de Orduña. Neutral grape alcohol is distilled 5x before separate macerations of sloe berries and 3 types of anise (star anise, aniseed, & coriander), then redistilled. Powerfully fruit-forward, tannic, & tart, with red berries, plum, baking spice, and a cooling minty accent. Great as a digestif as a shot or over large cubed ice, or makes a great spritz.
