Destiladora Bonanza created Libélula as the perfect tequila for margaritas, but is just as delicious for sipping and shots. Made from 100% blue agave from the highlands of Jalisco, where the seasonal climate and rich, red soil produces naturally sweet piñas with incredible flavor.
The majority of the of the blend is blanco (unaged) tequila with 20% reposado (aged) tequila. The blanco is cooked in autoclaves and distilled in continuous column stills. The reposado is cooked in in small batches in handmade brick ovens, distilled in copper pot stills, then aged a minimum of 8 months in used American whiskey barrels.
Pure flavors of citrus and grass meet vanilla, spice and richness from the oak aging on the reposado.
