Hank Beckmeyer & Caroline Hoël are refugees from the music business & the 2 person team behind La Clarine Farm. Early adopters of the minimal intervention movement, they’ve been making wine as naturally as possible since 2001.
This is mineral-driven Cab Franc, from vines almost 3000ft above sea level grown on volcanic loam.
Dark cherry, blackberry, & red plum join herbal sage, thyme, rosemary, red bell pepper, green peppercorn, & graphite. The bright, clear acidity & suave tannins perfectly balance the fruit & earthy components.
