Kilchoman’s flagship single malt is named for Islay’s most spectacular beach, evoking the rugged complexity of the dramatic coastal landscape. Mashed from 100% malted barley, then matured in bourbon casks and finished in Oloroso sherry butts.
Aromas of lemon zest, vanilla, & coastal breezes lead to juicy peach, pear, & spice. Tropical fruit, wood smoke, honey, butterscotch, & malt come through on the rich palate, while the sherry-soaked finish brings black pepper, briny sea salt, citrus, & maritime peat smoke.
