Kilchoman often uses sherry barrels to age their whiskies, but this was the first global release to use Fino barrels. Fino is a drier, more saline style of sherry, that brings fresh green apple notes to this whisky. Savory notes of peat smoke, toasted nuts, sea salt, honey & banana, with a burst of fresh citrus & earthy, vegetal peat.
