Kaiyō matures this whisky in the finest Mizunara oak casks. Mizunara is used for some of the rarest casks in the world, handmade due to the wood’s delicate, winding grain.
Double-distilled & double-matured, the casks spend 3 months traveling the seas between Osaka and Liverpool before bottling.
