Murmuration refers to the phenomenon when hundreds (sometimes thousands!) of starlings fly in swooping, intricate patterns through the sky. Much like a murmuration, a great blend is a collective reflection of the sum of its parts. It's Johan's way of showing a holistic expression of place.
