Since the first Jean-Louis Chave was gifted a vineyard in Saint-Joseph in 1481, 25 generations of the family have farmed some of the best parcels in the Northern Rhone.
Grapes for Circa grow in Mauves on granitic slopes, which bring a wonderful minerality & vivacity. Barrel fermented & aged 14 months in barrique.
Soft & supple, with white stone fruit, peach nectar, almond, acacia flowers, & honey before a smoky mineral flourish and long, elegant finish.
