Giuseppe Russo farms 15 hectares of vines on his family's old farm, some of which are over 100 years old. Aged 16 months in a combination of 2500L barrels, cement, and used barriques, this is an earthy, red fruit-filled wine, with flavors of scorched earth, cherries, and tobacco. Rustic and harmonious, marked by a volcanic-influenced sense of place.
