This historic estate’s origins date back to 1670, when two of their most important vineyards, Perdaudin and Prachiosso, were first planted. The winery has been passed down through the generations, with Giovanni Negro in charge of 64 hectares of vines today. Giovanni revolutionized Arneis when he produced the first dry Roero Arneis on record in 1971.
Grown on calcareous & sandy soils, this Arneis is fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts, then ages in steel for 4+ months on the lees before bottled unfined & unfiltered.
Grapefruit aromas, with notes of peach, lychee, and yellow apple. Pleasantly tart, with a hazy texture from the unfiltered lees. Fresh & zippy.
100% Arneis. Organic. Natural.
