The brainchild of winemaker Alberto Loi, Cardedu was created to feature the rustic wines of Sardinia's past. Complex aromas of hard candy and petrichor tease a juicy, coarse, minerally palate. Spicy, smoky, fleshy fruit and dusty tannins. From 15 year old vines, grown on decomposed pink granite, it sees time in old oak botti and cement. Unfined. Unfiltered.
