Pharmacists-turned-winemakers Brett & Denise Isenhower started Isenhower Cellars in 1999. This Viognier comes from the Carousel & Olsen Ranch Vineyards. Grapes are whole-cluster pressed and fermented in used French oak puncheons where they rest 5 months on the lees before finishing in tank.
Viognier’s classic richness brings notes of peach, apricot, jasmine, dried honeysuckle, & wet river rock. A touch of toasted French oak frames a bright acidity from Washington’s cool climate.
