David Hirsch planted his first plot of Chardonnay in 1994, selling the grapes off to Williams Selyem & Kistler. After planting another vineyard brought the total Chardonnay holdings to a whopping 3.9 acres, he's keeping all the fruit for this bottle. Luxurious, harmonious, & complex. Aged in French & Austrian oak (27% new), it's fresh & focused with well-integrated oak. The fruit leans toward lemony citrus & apple.
