Helmut Darting firmly believes in minimal intervention, saying "every time you handle a wine, you diminish it." While Pinot Meunier is usually known as a blending grape in Champagne, it shines here as a single-varietal red. Decadently light, but full of ripe strawberry, raspberry, & cherry, with a violet-tinged earthy spice. It is, dare we say, Burgundian.
