When Pascal Danjean took over the family estate in the early '90s, he decided to stop selling grapes to the local co-op, and started expanding the family holdings to start bottling his own wine. The clay-limestone soils have high levels of iron and minerals, bringing high-toned aromatics and first structure to the reds. 50+ year old vines, aged 12 months in oak. Soft & supple fresh berries and forest floor. Over-delivers.
