Very few wines ring as brightly and with the same purity as white wines from Sancerre, famous for Sauvignon Blanc with unmistakable aromatics, concentration, and balance. Domaine La Croix Saint-Laurent dedicates itself to revealing the grapes’ most exemplary characteristics. Their flagship wine is sourced from world-class Caillottes soil, offering a specific sense of place, capturing the chalky minerality and zesty citrus fruit that’s part of the region’s identity.
11th-generation winemaker Fabien Cirotte crafts the wines at Domaine La Croix Saint-Laurent and his family has been farming and making wine for over five centuries. Fermentation and maturation in stainless steel preserve natural freshness, and about a third of the wine was aged in acacia barrels to give the 2020 vintage a serene softness.
