Domaine de Compostelle is the second wine of Chateau La Cabanne. It is now produced in every vintage to help improve the quality of the Grand Vin. Vinification: Cold maceration before alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel truncated vats. Manuel cap punching. Tasting Notes: Deep black cherry color. Very nice nose marked by hints of strawberry jam and vanilla. On the palate, the wine shows aromas of red berry compote and cocoa. Well balanced with silky tannins. Good aromatic length.
