Owen Roe’s second label is named for the scientific family of birds that includes the crow, raven, jay, & magpie. Their reputation as crafty, adaptable, and notoriously dubious characters is fitting for Roe’s line of regional wines, filled with rich, complex layers of fruit.
Named for a character in Poe’s famed poem, “The Raven”, Lenore’s fruit comes from the Outlook, Elerding, Red Willow, and Union Gap vineyards, aged in a small amount of new French oak.
Deep, dark, luscious chocolate-covered cherry, plum, vanilla bean, spice, peppercorn, & sweet tobacco. Remains fresh & vibrant with firm tannins from the cool climate acidity.
