Fermentation: starting with a “pied-de-cuve” using only indigenous yeasts and skin contact for about 30 days.
The Frank Cornelissen Susucaru Rosso is a light, high-acid natural red wine from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily. It is a field blend led by Nerello Mascalese (85%), known for its vibrant energy, "wild" aromatics, and distinct mineral edge.
Nose: Explodes with wild strawberry, sour cherry, and blood orange, often with hints of herbs and volcanic earth.
Palate: Juicy and intense with high acidity and a "crunchy" fruit texture. Expect flavors of raspberries and red currants with a savory, salty mineral finish.
