Gilles Bley's vines in Cahors are located on the flat terraces above much of the region, on red clay and limestone. This gives his wines a surprisingly bright and fruit-driven character, with red and black fruit, subtle terroir influences, and silky tannins. Plum, cherry, and blackberry meet black tea, crushed stones and a lovely acidity. Versatile.
