Château Mascard is located a few miles west of Pauillac on the left bank of the Garrone river, where 25 year-old vines grow in a small plot on a hilly mix of clay & gravelly soils. Aged in tank after blending for 16 months.
Black cherry, red currant, & small red berries intermingle with leather, cedar, black pepper, pencil shavings. Smooth & generous, it finishes with velvety tannins & a pleasant acidity.
65% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon. Sustainable.
