Château Gravelier is located on superb hillsides on the edge of the Entre Deux Mers, in St Martial (33). The vineyard comprises 32 hectares spread over a single plot planted on clay-limestone soil, the terroir of Château Gravelier, always favorable to a great wine and recently the terroir of Fontaine de Penot, 6 hectares, a single plot in the commune of Pian s/ Garonne. The grape varieties are 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet and 5% Sauvignon blanc.
To produce a quality wine, yields and phytosanitary treatments are moderate.
The foliage is kept as high as possible to obtain better maturity.
