From 80 hectares of organically-farmed vineyards planted in the early 1990s by filmmaker Jean-René de Fleurieu. The grapes grow on sand & silt alluvial soils between the Gard & Rhône rivers, at the border of Languedoc & the Rhône Valley. Fermented & aged in a a combination of stainless steel & epoxy resin tanks.
Juicy & ripe, “Cherche Midi” seemlessly blends Rhône Valley minerality & nerve with abundant Languedoc Fruit. Aromas of blackberries & baking spice join dried raspberry, blackberry, rosemary, black pepper, & savory, spiced charcuterie on the palate before a supple finish.
40% Syrah, 30% Merlot, 30% Grenache. Organic.
