From .75 hectares in the lieu-dit "Les Marceours" adjacent to Clos Myglands on the eastern edge of the village. The vines range from 20-45 years old and are grown in mixed limestone debris and ferruginous soils. Stylish Mercurey, showing the ripeness of the 2022 vintage, with an array of wild strawberry, raspberry, cherry liqueur, earth and mineral aromas upon the nose, quite dense but elegant and bright. Medium-bodied, with ripe concentrated, sappy red fruits and dark earth tones and hints of spice in the mouth; there is oak present, but it integrates nicely into the very long, succulent, sappy and stony finish, with great freshness and length. Lovely now, should improve over the next five to eight years. This is an excellent value in Red Burgundy and a lovely wine!
