At Capo Nativo, domesticated animals freely roam around the vineyards, pruning the vines & leaving droppings that eliminate the need for outside compost or fertilizers.
Hand-picked grapes are cold soaked for a week to extract fresh fruit. Fermented with daily pump-overs, the free run juice separates from the skins before natural malolactic fermentation. Partially aged in oak for 6 months before the final blending.
Bright & fruity, with notes of damson plum, blackberry, cassis and cherry. Sweet & toasty notes of wood frame a little bit of spice and a delicate herbal note, while the ripe tannins bring welcome grip & structure.
