After working as a journalist for 15 years in Asia & Europe, Gabriel Dvoskin discovered his passion for wine & decided to change careers, devoting himself to winemaking full-time. In 2010, he acquired 10 hectares of calcareous vineyards in El Cepillo, Uco Valley. At 990m elevation, the snow-capped Andies in full view, bringing extreme temperatures and erratic winds to these cool climate vineyards.
Fruit comes from 2 vineyards planted in 2010. Hand harvested & destemmed, with whole berry fermentation in concrete tanks with 7 days maceration. After 9 months in concrete, then bottled with no fining or filtration, & just a hit of SO2.
The addition of 7% Chardonnay brings a fresh & floral nose. Well structured, with juicy red, black, & purple fruits fruit, cocoa bean, & mocha. The soft, elegant texture brings a dry finish and accents of spice & earth.
93% Malbec, 7% Chardonnay. Organic. Biodynamic. Natural.
