Brooks Winery is the living legacy of Jimi Brooks, a Portland native who founded the estate in 1998 after working at Maysara & WillaKenzie. Jimi passed away suddenly in 2004, leaving his 8 year-old son Pascal as sole owner of the company. With help from 12 neighboring wineries and slew of loyal friends & family, Pascal and the team at Brooks have carried on, guided by Jimi’s legacy.
Brooks’ labels feature an ouroboros, a dragon eating its tail as a symbol of the circle of life, death, and renewal. It honors the ouroboros tattoo Jimi had on his left shoulder.
Grapes for this Pinot Blanc come from the Crannell & Bellevue Cross vineyards in Willamette Valley. After a quick press, it ages in stainless steel.
Bursting with peach, pear, pineapple, kaffir lime, bee pollen, & lemon zest. Delightfully dry & crisp with a beautiful weight, bright acidity & saline finish
