The Pinuaga family has been making wine since 1960 following minimal intervention philosophy, using natural and artisanal winemaking practices. They work with the Cencibel clone of Tempranillo, prized for its smaller grapes, silky skins, and longer ripening cycles.
Pinuaga tinto comes from a single 800m elevation vineyard of 5 hectares of Grenache and 3 Ha of old Cencibel bush vines, grown on clay soils. Hand harvested grapes are sorted, destemmed, and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks.
Crisp and lively, with notes of dark cherry, strawberry, currant, mulberry, and plum rounded out with velvety smooth tannins.
Garnacha, Tempranillo. Organic
