Winemaker Bill Easton is one of California’s original Rhone Rangers, and helped pioneer the growth of Rhone varietals in the Sierra Foothills during the late 1980s. Terre Rouge means “red earth”, and the vermillion-colored soil is a hallmark of the region.

Terre Rouge’s Garrigue is inspired by reds grown along alongside the garrigue, low-growing vegetation common to the French Mediterranean coast. Here bushy, fragrant plants such as juniper, thyme, rosemary & lavender give the wines a fresh, minty-herbal note with pungent floral fragrances. The Terre Rouge vines lie next to manzanita, pine, toyon, yerba santa, and chamise, lending a similar, but distinctly Californian vibe.

Spiced, grippy, & full of black fruit with full-body appeal. A complex, savory wine perfect for burgers, hanger steak or herb roasted vegetables.

67% Syrah, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon.
