Dave Caparone was the first American to plant Aglianico vines in the U.S. in 1988. Since the first release in 1992, Caparone has been known for this unfiltered, unfined wine. With 24 months in small oak barrels, leather, floral notes, and jammy berry aromas emerge. A plush mouthfeel, noticable acidity, and grippy tannic structure finish it off.
