Philipp Anton Allendorf founded the estate in 1733, but the family’s roots trace back to the 13th century. Today, Ulrich Allendorf & crew run 140 acres, mostly in prestigious sites like Hasensprung.
Pinot Noir grapes grow from Hallgarten to Assmannshausen on loam & slate soils, protected by the Taunus mountains. From 80-120 year old vines, the hand-harvested grapes spend 15-18 months in neutral barrels.
Elegant & mineral-driven, with delicate notes of fresh-picked strawberries, plum skin, red currant, and fresh herbs. The lithe frame of soft tannins brings just-ripened red fruits, cherries, and blackberries.
100% Pinot Noir. Sustainable.
