A nod to the evaporated spirit stolen by thirsty angels, Ak Zanj Dark Rum is distilled in a 60+ year-old Creole column still & aged 3-7 years in used Cognac barrels made from limousine oak. Made from the low-yield Madame Mueze sugarcane, hand-harvested by machete.
Rich & deeply caramel, with savory spring fruit, candied citrus, baking spice, honey, vanilla, & roasted hazelnuts, before a dry, nutty finish. Balanced & round, its a versatile rum for any cocktail.
