Made from the same set of recipes since 1821, Dolin is one of the few remaining producers of Vermouth de Chambéry. About 40 different botanicals from local Alpine meadows are added to a base wine made from local Ugni Blanc grapes to impart fresh, complex, herbal flavors. The recipe is closely guarded, but contains coriander, hyssop, rhubarb and curaçao oranges. A bartender’s standby for a slew of cocktails, including Negronis and Manhattans.
