Named for the eponymous town in Sonora, Mexico, bacanora is like a secret sibling to tequila or Oaxacan mezcal. All bacanoras are 100 percent mezcal, the Agave pacifica varietal, to be specific. Tepua is potent and medicinal, reminiscent of an unsmoked mezcal but with distinctive notes reflective of the state's arid desert climate and terroir. Awesome, herby.
