Sans Wine Co. was founded in 2015 by husband & wife Jake Stover & Gina Schober to create fresh, vibrant, approachable natural wines of place.
From organic, dry farmed, old vine vineyards, planted in the 1920s, 1940s, and 1970s in Mendocino. The grapes were hand harvested, cluster sorted, and carbonically fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, with aging in steel before bottling unfined & unfiltered.
Aromas of plum, Provençal herbs, violet, and rhubarb join a palate of raspberries, cranberries, blueberries, and cinnamon. Tangy & bright, the smooth tannins make this a perfect bottle to chill.
